“I truly enjoy making products that are useful.  And helping my customers find the product that is right for them by listening to their needs.” – Katrina Eversole

The 2020 Season is the debut appearance of Get Spiced! & The Gypsy Kate Soap Co at LCFM. Ran by Katrina Eversole, Get Spiced! offers handmade spice mixes for all of your recipes from sweet, to spicy, to savory. Katrina also shares her goat milk soaps through Gypsy Kate Soap Co, offering high quality ingredients to care for even the most delicate skin.

“I began making goat milk soap in 2013 and was quickly intrigued by the science behind the process.  I use my own recipe that was refined, tested and refined and tested again and again to be able to offer you the finest quality at all times” shares Katrina about her soap company. Not only does she highly value her process, she values the voices of the customers who support her. “I love to make things that bring people joy!   Who doesn’t like soft luxurious soap!  And it is chock full of vitamins and minerals to promote healthy skin.”

Katrina shares about her approach to her business, “I believe you must have a passion for what you do, listen to your customers needs and to work hard and to continually evolve to offer the best possible products. I try not to take myself too seriously and have fun in the entire process!”

Although her businesses are new, her values of high quality ingredients with only natural components in her products have been engrained for her whole life. “I was raised by my grandparents in a close rural community and taught from a young age to follow The Golden Rule, to treat others with respect and always provide friendly customer service.  We sold eggs and vegetables and butchered chickens regularly to sell or can.  I knew at a young age that I wanted to own a business that would benefit people.  It only took about 50 years to figure out what that business should be!

Check out Get Spiced! and Gypsy Kate products at the Logan County Farmers Market from 8:30am-12pm Saturdays through September in the lot across from the Post Office.
