Help us grow the LCFM

Would you like to help bring fresh local food to awesome kids and families in your neighborhood?

Help us reach our 2018 fundraising goal!

We believe that a valued Farmer’s Market must be three things:
1. Good for the Farmer

We strive to keep vendor fees low and customer traffic high to help our new and seasoned vendors offer affordable local goods while still adequately supporting their families.

2. Good for the Consumer

We maintain the integrity of the Market by monitoring our vendor offerings closely to make sure that customers are getting the highest quality and genuinely locally produced products.

3. Good for the COMMUNITY

We prioritize community education on sustainable local food systems and healthy eating via farm tours, cooking demonstrations, and programs to make nutrient dense food more accessible to at-risk populations (i.e. children and impoverished families). We function as a new business incubator; many vendors are so successful that it is necessary to expand their business to keep up with demand. The Market also brings an influx of consumers to the area, 41% of shoppers also eat or shop elsewhere in Bellefontaine after attending the Market on Saturdays.

We would be happy to hear any questions or comments! Contact the market manager, Karla Kauffman, at manager@logancountyfarmersmarket.com.
